Shot on 16mm, Un Matin tells the story of four people without legal residence in their search for employment in Brussels. During 11 minutes, we’re invited into the van that takes them to an unknown destination, sharing in their journey and uncertainty.
Making this film was a delicate, emotional experience. One that brought together people who share the same city but might never have crossed paths.

This film was created through a close collaboration with Ara vzw, highlighting the power of community-driven storytelling. It was presented to Minister Benjamin Dalle, responsible for poverty reduction, emphasizing its social relevance. Additionally, the film will be screened for all first-year Social Work students at Odisee, with the actors in attendance, fostering meaningful discussions. Furthermore, it has been selected as the opening short at Filmhuis Mechelen, preceding L’Histoire de Souleymane, securing its place within a broader cinematic and social context.
